Increase House Rent Allowance in favour of Civil Employees , Government Employees are expecting the much increase in their salaries in this budget 2018-19. The main demand of the Government employees is increase in House Rent Allowance as the same is on the basis of Revised Pay and equal to Secretariat Employees by allowing House Hiring Facility in the interest of justice with Civil Employees
INCREASE HOUSE RENT ALLOWANCE:- House Rent Allowance was enhanced in 2008 for the last time in favour of Civil employees and since then there is no increase in HRA infavour of Civil Employees. Although Pay Scales were revised in 2011, 2015, 2016 and 2017 but the HRA was frozen at the Scales of 2008,where the employees were already drawing it based on Pay Scales 2008
